| t e r r a i n c o g n i t a Many people have asked Nona why is it Terra incognita and why Nefertiti? It is because when she began to conduct the TV show "Terra incognita" on the National television, a whole world of creative imagination burst within her. Since she had long wanted to act the part of Nefertiti not only because she liked her very much but also because of the physical likeness she has with her, she all of a sudden found in our ancient history the very justification she needed: Nona imagined our land, as it had been 8 or 9 thousand years ago, and the people who lived here. She knew from what she had already seen in the halcolithic necropolis in Varna that they looked just like we do and in her opinion (which is the opinion of an artist) there is a pharaoh buried in grave 43 in the Varna necropolis. She revealed her fantasies to the consultant of the show Marin Velichkov and he told her that she was free to have her hypothesis about Nefertiti's origin from this area. As we know, our civilization has existed 2000 years before the Egyptian one and no wonder part of our ancestors, when what swept them away came, to have set out for Egypt. Scientists have not yet reached a firm standpoint on what this thing was and it is yet to be clarified for the sake of history whether it was a flood or whether those were some militant proto-Thracians, mounted on rushing wild horses. For this reason, as an artist Nona invented such a reality about her connection with Nefertiti. Maybe they descend from one and the same clan. Maybe she fled to Egypt and since she was a priestess, i.e. a bearer of superior intelligence, she became the wife of the pharaoh and tried to help him achieve his aims or tried to impose her own aims. Maybe her ancestor grandmother remained here. We do not know whether she climbed the high plateau of Madara in order to save herself from the Flood, or she fell in love with some handsome Thracian warrior, but Nona keeps on dreaming and embodying her dreams into music, love and light. And she naturally keeps on smiling. |
